  • Condition: This pediment is from France and dates to the late 1800's. It is in classic hunting style with a highly carved dog fighting a boar. It is carved from oak and finished to a warm dark color- almost black. It is in very good antique condition-straight and solid with only minor nicks and scratches consistent with its age. Note that there are pieces missing from the crest that are only noticeable upon close inspection (see photos). Dimensions: 40" long, 11" high and 4.5" deep.
