    New York Tribune, August 8, 1914. Original not a modern reproduction.
    Artist: Clive Weed (1884-1936) editorial cartoonist.
    DESCRIPTION: Trimmed from newspaper page with some margin text unrelated to the cartoon. Large size, cropped measures 8 x 10 1/2 inches as shown in the first image,
    excluding the margins.
    CONDITION: ageing paper, clean with no tears. An arresting image of death holding a
    scythe.
