his listing is for a vintage silver plated ligature. There is no brand name on, but I'd guess that it was a stock ligature from one of the 'Big 5' sax manufacturers in the US prior to WWII (Conn, Buescher, Martin, King, Holton). This ligature is VERY large. It is even slightly large on an a pickle barrel Bundy bari mouthpiece. It fits well on my Conn eagle BASS sax mouthpiece though. I'm not saying for sure that it was intended for bass sax, but it is in that size range. Another possibility would be contrabass clarinet. It would be too big for a bass clarinet, and I think too large for most bari sax mouthpieces. The inside diameter is 37.30mm. That is taken at the back of the ligature, with the screws fully closed. Obviously it can open quite a bit from there, but that is the most it can close to. This ligature is in very good condition. It has not been bent out of shape or cracked, and the screws work properly. The silver plate finish is fully intact, albeit tarnished. It would polish up nicely if you so desired.

    Note to international buyers:
Due to the current global pandemic, international shipments via USPS mail are experiencing significant delays. This is due to lack of available transportation (ie. mail is normally carried overseas as cargo on commercial passenger flights, however the flight schedules have been slashed). European buyers have experienced wait times of up to 2 months for shipments to arrive. If this potential wait presents a problem for you, please refrain from purchasing at this time. I sincerely apologize for this, unfortunately unavoidable, inconvenience.
